Player Signings

Here's a recap of all the players the Coquitlam Adanacs BCJALL organization have picked up during the off-season. Look to see them all in action in 2014.

Offense

Kyle Heiling played Intermediate in Maple Ridge last season helping the club to become BCILL Provincial Champions. In 15 games, Kyle put up 46 points (21 goals & 25 assists) and took 109 minutes in penalties.

Johnny Kraakman is a lefty who continues to get better every year. He has a quick release on the crease and his unselfish play makes him a great team player with a huge offensive upside and potential.

Brett Kujula is coming off back to back fifty goal seasons in Intermediate A. He is an offensive right hander who has a heavy shot and is a natural on the crease.

Reed & Griffen Leclaire are twins from Semiahmoo; one lefty and one righty. Both have very high skill set and great sticks. They have been away from the box game for a full year, but they are motivated to show everyone that they belong on a Junior A team and hope to continue where they left off - producing offensively. Both have extremely heavy shots and see the floor well. They are a threat to shoot or dish the ball at any time and this makes them extremely hard to defend. They bring a unique dynamic to the game being twins and have been part of the Team BC Box/Field Game over the years. Both over 6' tall and we are confident they will impress.

Joe Olson is a big right hander who plays with creativity, good game sense and vision. He's very good at distributing the ball and also has a natural goal scoring touch.

Tyler Pace should be a familiar name to our supporters after he came over from Poco at the trade deadline last season. An Intermediate age player, Pace signed a junior card in 2013 and in eleven games combined between the two teams, he was good for 22 goals and 23 assists for a combined 45 points in the season. He also dressed for one playoff game for Coquitlam.

Defense

Greg Batt is another player from the Ridge Meadows Intermediate A Provincial Championship team. Stalwart on the back end, he plays on the edge and will help solidify the defence. Greg is a right hander who can run the ball and help transition the ball up the floor.

Matt Olson, coming out the back door, played 14 games, scored 2 goals and was credited with 2 assists. He's a solid face-off guy who spent 54 minutes in the penalty box.

Goal

Connor David is another Intermediate A Provincial Champion who comes with the personal credit of being named to the Intermediate All-Star team, Top Goaltender and MVP at the 2013 Provincial Championships. Connor was also named to an All-Star team and Top Goaltender for 2013 regular season play.
