Pace Fan Favourite in Coquitlam 18-9 Win Over Langley
Photo: Jamie Shewchuk/Instagram -- Last night the Coquitlam Adanacs extended their win-streak to 15 Games by defeating the Langley Thunder by a score of 18-9 at the Langley Events Centre.
The win-streak for the Adanacs is a great accomplishment as they sit at the top of the BCJALL Standings and are focused on winning their 7th consecutive BCJALL Championship. However, last night's win was extra special for Coquitlam's Tyler Pace.
In an away game for the Pace and the Adanacs, the LEC was a bit friendlier as they had a large group of supports - from Denver, Colorado. Pace, who attends the University of Denver and in May won the NCAA DI Men's Lacrosse Championship with the Pioneers, while at school also helps coach in the LXTC Lacrosse Training Center and their Denver Elite box lacrosse team.
The Denver Elite team is in British Columbia on a tour playing some of the best teams the province has to offer in their age group. With a night off the team and coaches, featuring Jamie Shewchuk and Matt Brown, were able to watch a BCJALL game. It would be safe to assume the Denver Elite team was happy with the outcome as they saw "Coach Pace's" team win and learn from his 4 Goal and 4 Assist performance.
