Ethan Ticehurst Assistant Coach - Defensive Coordinator

Rounding out our 2024 coaching staff is Junior Adanac alumni and current Calgary Roughnecks/Nanaimo Sr Timbermen defender Ethan Ticehurst.

Ethan returns to the bench after helping last season’s team reach the Minto Cup Finals in Edmonton, which in part wouldn’t have happened without a hard-nosed and fast defensive unit led by him.

Ticehurst spent time under Head Coach Pat Coyle as a player, winning the Minto Cup in 2018, and now will be under Coyle’s tutelage as a defensive coordinator looking to bring the Minto home in 2024.

Ethan is a student of the game, and his drive to study and scout the opposition is second to none, which translates to a defensive unit that is prepared for anything, game in and game out.

We are excited to have Ethan back, and look forward to watching our defensive unit work this summer!
